Save Our NHS Leicestershire is hosting an online public meeting on Tuesday December 15 at 7pm to discuss the £450million hospital reorganisation plans in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Campaigners will be joined by speakers from the local NHS who are running the public consultation which ends on 21st December.
Tom Barker, a spokesperson for Save Our NHS Leicestershire, said:
“During the COVID-19 pandemic, residents in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland have been asked to participate in a public consultation with huge implications for the future of public health in the region.
“But while we all agree that additional funding for our NHS is welcome, there is significant disagreement between campaigners and NHS bosses over the details of the plans.
“This is your opportunity to hear different points of view on the consultation plan and have concerns addressed.”
